Revving Up Teen Safety: ThinkFast Interactive and State Farm Ignite Awareness at Oxford High School!
OXFORD, PA — ThinkFast Interactive, in collaboration with State Farm Insurance, recently brought their engaging and educational program to Oxford High School on September 25. The initiative aims to heighten awareness among students regarding their driving responsibilities, using an interactive approach that combines education with entertainment.
ThinkFast Interactive, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is renowned for its prevention intervention programs. These programs utilize a competitive trivia format to convey safety and prevention messages effectively to teenagers. The design of the program not only entertains but also educates, leading to a significant shift in participant attitudes and intentions toward eliminating risky behaviors. The goal is to inspire young individuals to adopt safer practices without feeling intruded upon.
Tim John, Owner & President of ThinkFast Interactive, emphasized the program’s impact, stating, “For the better part of twenty years, I have watched our program impact diverse audiences all across this country and be a catalyst for positive change. The intrinsic value of making a difference and connecting with today’s youth is hard to put into words, but making a difference is the ‘fire’ in the heart of all our team members.”
State Farm’s involvement underscores the importance of the initiative. Agent Chuck Weed of Oxford remarked, “Motor vehicle crashes are still the number one cause of death among teens in the U.S. So, it was a ‘no brainer’ for State Farm to partner with ThinkFast to bring awareness and education around this topic to our high school community. We continue to stay strongly committed to doing everything we can to reduce teen crashes and help save lives.”
The program at Oxford High is part of a broader effort by ThinkFast Interactive to engage students across the nation, supported by collaborations with automotive companies, highway safety offices, and community partners. With over 600 programs conducted annually, the initiative is making strides in promoting teen driver safety and other critical issues among young audiences.
